Joel S. Kaplan received his law degree in 1961 from the New York University School of Law after graduating from Brooklyn College in 1958. An experienced litigator in all fields of law, Mr. Kaplan has concentrated his practice in civil litigation involving complex corporate, commercial, contract, negligence, matrimonial and elder law litigation matters. Mr. Kaplan is admitted to practice law in New York, Florida and Washington D.C. He is President of B'nai Brith International. He has served as a court appointed representative in the capacity of receiver, conservator and attorney for allegedly incapacitated persons in various matters. Among his recent achievements is the receipt of a $1,500,000.00 verdict before a New York County Supreme Court jury.
